How to Develop ESP

How intuition and remote viewing work

For 20 years the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) used "remote viewers" to find out what was going on in many secret locations around the world. Several books have been written about this very successful program.

Remote viewing is one aspect of what we refer to as Mental Projection, or ESP: Effective Sensory Projection. Remote viewing is projecting your mind to mentally detect the appearance of things.

You "remotely view" with your mind. "Mental projection" means projecting your mind to detect information. You use your senses of eyesight andhearing to detect objective (physical) information, and you can learn to use your mind to detect subjective (non-physical) information.

The mind is not a physical thing. Your body is physical; your eyes and ears and brain are all physical, but your mind is not.

The mind cannot be detected with physical instruments.

The mind can only be detected by another mind.

Since the mind is not physical, we cannot use physical means to teach the mind what to do. We can use words and pictures to teach the body what to do, to teach your brain what to do.

It takes another mind to teach your mind what to do.

You can use physical means of communication to teach the body what to do. You can use a book or a recording to learn to enter the alpha brain wave level, but you need subjective (mental) guidance to teach your mind what to do.

The mind functions much differently than the body. It is sort of like dealing with computer code. If you look at a page of computer code, all you see are 1's and 0's. That doesn't mean anything to us human beings, but it means something to other computer code.

The computer code interacts with other computer code (instructions) and eventually it is converted into a form that you recognize - words or pictures on your computer screen. Or perhaps audio that you can hear with your ears.

Mental communication is somewhat similar, in that the mind subjectively (non-physically) detects subjective information about a subject, and then converts that information into a form that you can understand, such as a mental image, or words, or a feeling.

The mental image (of what you remotely view) is not the actual communication. It is the end result of a mental process, just as the words or pictures on the computer monitor are the result of your instructions (given via the keyboard and the mouse) interacting with the word processing (or image processing) program, which then interacts with the computer hardware to produce light and dark pixels that you recognize as words and images.

If you want to detect what is inside a building in Russia (which was the first assignment given to a psychic by the CIA to determine if remote viewing was real) you go to the alpha level and project your mind to the location that they give you.

Then your mind interacts with the subjective (non-physical) part of the object that was inside the building, detects that information, and then converts it back to a form that humans can recognize - a mental image.

The psychic, who already knew how to project his mind and detect information in this manner, was able - with his mind - to detect the subjective information about the object inside the building, then his mind mentally converted that information into a mental picture so that he could then tell the CIA agent what the object looked like.

A year and a half later when the Russians rolled the object out of the building and it was photographed from the American U2 spy plane, it looked exactly like the psychic had said it did 18 months earlier. That's in the book written recently by Russell Targ about the CIA remote viewing program.

As a result of that demonstration, the CIA began their remote viewing program.

Now how do you learn how to do that?

3 steps to develop ESP:

1. Learn to function at the alpha level with conscious awareness

2. Establish points of reference in the subjective dimension

3. Verify by applying your ESP to problem solving

1. Learn to function at the alpha level with conscious awareness

You need to do it at the alpha level. At the alpha level you are able to use both brain hemispheres to think with.

It is the right brain hemisphere that is intuitive, that detects subjective (non-physical... psychic) information.

Once you learn to enter the alpha level and then activate your mind without coming out of the 10 cycles alpha level, then you can start sharing information between the left and right brain hemispheres.

Everything that you detect with your objective (physical) senses (eyesight, hearing, smell, taste, touch) is impressed on your left brain hemisphere, and a copy is transferred to your right brain hemisphere.

Everything that you detect with your subjective (mental) senses is impressed on your right brain hemisphere. But for most people, it is not transferred to your left brain hemisphere. That is because most of us, when we were growing up, concentrated on developing the logical left brain hemisphere, enjoying the pleasures of the physical world, and we left the right brain hemisphere behind so to speak.

While growing up, we did not develop the use of the faculties of the right brain hemisphere: intuition, ESP.

So the first thing you need to do is to learn to function at the alpha level and to remain at alpha even after you become mentally active. You can do this on your own, by using the 40 day program that Mr. Silva explains in his books, or much faster by practicing with the aid of an audio recording of the Silva Centering Exercise.

Then you can start learning how to transfer a copy the information that has been impressed on your left brain hemisphere, to your right brain hemisphere. 2. Establish points of reference in the subjective dimension

The next step usually requries the guidance of an Instructor, or someone who has already learned and practices Mr. Silva's System, whose mind can guide your mind to know what to do and how to do it.

When we were working on the UltraMind ESP System book, we asked Mr. Silva how someone who is not able to take the live training can develop ESP. The chapter about developing ESP and precognition has what he told us.

We have also been listening to many recordings of him explaining how to teach your children to use ESP.

It is easy with children when they are between the ages of 7 and 14, because then their overall predominant brain frequency is in the alpha range. It is very easy for them to get to alpha.

So you have them close their eyes and then recall things that they are familiar with - recall information that has been impressed on their left brain hemisphere.

When they do this at their level, they are synchronizing the information between the left and the right brain hemispheres.

You can do that when you go to the alpha level and recall information about your home, when you mentally walk through your home and observe things in your home.

Then you want to go beyond that. You want to use your right brain hemisphere to detect information that you have not previously impressed with your objective (physical) senses on your left brain hemisphere.

Joe Jr. (Jose Silva Jr.) said that when they were growing up, his father would encourage them to practice doing this. When somebody would come to the front door, Joe explained, his father would tell them before they answered the door, to close their eyes, go to their level (recall the feeling of being at level) and see if they could detect who was at the door.

What he wanted them to do was to describe the person. If it was somebody they knew, then they would recognize them. Or perhaps it would be someone with a radio in his hands, bringing it over to be repair. Mr. Silva's electronics repair business was in his home in those days.

As we mentioned a moment ago, most people - approximately 90 percent - grow up without knowing how to function at the alpha level and use the right brain hemisphere to think with.

Only 10 percent of humanity learns, through natural means, to use the right brain hemisphere to think with.

Those are the lucky people... literally. Even though they usually don't realize it, they detect more information than most people, because they are using two sets of senses instead of just one. Since they have more information, they are able to make better decisions. And they get better results. We say they are "lucky." They are "lucky" because they have more information to work with and therefore get better results.

As you might suspect, it can take a long time for an adult to learn to do this on his own. You have to do a lot of "trial and error" work:

When you are successful at detecting information with your mind, then go to your level and review what you did and especially review how it felt. There is a special feeling - a mental or emotional feeling - when you are correct. Review this feeling, so that you will recognize it when you have it again. This will help you to develop your ESP, and your ability to "remotely view" things.

A much faster and more efficient way to learn is to learn from somebody who has already developed this ability. Then your mind simply does what their mind is doing.That's what happens in our seminars. As long as you are within the Instructor's aura range, the Instructor's mind will guide your mind to learn to do this.

The Instructor will guide you through a specific series of mental exercises to establish points of reference (experiences) in all levels of our objective world: the inanimate matter kingdom, the plant life kingdom, the animal life kingdom, and the human kingdom. 3. Verify by applying your ESP to problem solving

The final afternoon of the 2 days of classroom experience that you have with your Silva UltraMind Systems Instructor is for you to practice applying your ESP in a number of case studies.

You will have time to work at least 10 of the case studies, to have 10 ESP experiences. That has always been Jose Silva's policy. It is not sufficient to just work 2 or 3 cases - you need a "test sample" of 10 in order to determine how well you are doing.

Be sure to take full advantage of the opportunity to work the 10 case studies with your Instructor in the room. It is important that you are in the vicinity of your Instructor so that your Instructor's mind can guide your mind to know how to detect the subjective information about the case subjects.

Your Instructor's mind doesn't do it for you; your Instructor's mind is there to help your mind learn how to do it. The Instructor's mind helps your mind know what to do for itself so that you can then go home and practice on your own.

So while you are in the room with other students who are learning to use their ESP, and with your Instructor whose mind already knows what to do in order to detect information through Mental Projection, take full advantage of the opportunity. If your mind is not quite sure what to do, it will just check out your Instructor's mind and find out what to do.

That's what you are paying for: To get the benefit of the experience that your Instructor already has in doing this, in order to help learn how to do it yourself and get your own ESP working.

After you have worked those first 10 cases, then you can practice on your own, at home. From that point on, it is just a matter of practicing and getting more experience and establishing more points of reference in the subjective dimension.

Mr. Silva determined through his research that you need to do 10 of those case studies in the presence of your Instructor in order to be able to accurate evaluate your accuracy, to know how you are doing. Nobody is 100 percent accurate, so when you work the 10 cases, you will be able to determine whether you are as accurate as you should be. If not, ask your Instructor for additional help - you have already paid for this service.

If you are not satisfied with your accuracy, then you let your Instructor know. Your Instructor might want to work with you personally, or might recommend that you repeat the course the next time it is offered.
